The first-ever series of electric bikes from MINI in collaboration with Angell Mobility boasts an aluminium integrated frame and wheels, as well as steel spokes, an injected-thermoplastic chain guard, and swappable batteries. The MINI E-Bike 1 also offers customization options to cater to the individual preferences of the rider.
The MINI E-Bike 1 is a fusion of MINI's signature aesthetics and Angell bikes' streamlined aluminium and carbon design. Brooks England is responsible for the leather-free saddle and handlebar grips, while the pedals, thermoplastic chain guard, and mudguards are integrated with the bike frame design.
MINI electric bikes come in two colour variants, namely Ocean Wave Green, which signals the brand's commitment to no-carbon-emission and electrification, and Vibrant Silver, inspired by the iconic colours of MINI.
In addition, the bike is equipped with a 2.4-inch touchscreen that displays key information on the go and features cutting-edge technology that allows riders to adjust their preferences and communicate with their bike through an integrated cockpit or their smartphone.
The MINI E-bike 1 is designed to cater to bikers of various heights, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the ride. With a weight of around 17-17.5 kilos, including batteries, the S and M frames are perfect for riders ranging from 160 to 190 centimetres tall. The lightweight structure could be achieved due to the untamed use of aluminium in the framework. Thanks to the bike's sleek design, the compact and swappable batteries are conveniently located just below the seat and at the rear of the E-Bike 1.
